Raging drug habits

I just discovered that you can't buy more than 30 pain killers at a time now if they contain codeine. Apparently it's addictive enough that there are reports of people consuming up to 80/day by crushing them and then injecting them. So, yet again, we have legislation based on the lowest common denominator. I don't know about you, but I'm really sick of this 'actions of a few dictate the rights of the majority' approach to law-making :-/
